On October 8, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the South Skyline Emergency Preparedness Organization (SSEPO) will be sponsoring a CPR/AED, First Aid and Triage class at the MROSD Skyline Field Office (Ranger Station at Hwy 35/Skyline and Alpine Rd, 21141 Skyline Blvd). This class is free of charge and is open to anyone interested. The CPR section will be held from 9:00 to 10:30. This class is NOT for CPR certification, but if you want to learn CPR and how to use an AED, or if you are already certified and would like a refresher, this is the class for you. The first aid and triage portion of the class will be held from 10:30 to 2:00 and will cover basic first aid and how to triage patients in an emergency situation. The class will follow the guidelines set forth in CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training, but you do NOT need to be CERT trained in order to attend.
Water and sodas will be provided, but please bring your own lunch. The CPR class is limited to a maximum of 20 people, so PLEASE RSVP to me, at, no later than Monday, October 3.
