Pescadero Community Radio Requests a Reception Report Sept. 28

Pescadero Community Radio Station, KPDO, will participate in the National Emergency Alert System test this Wednesday, Sept 28, sometime between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Catherine Peery (KK6UFX) has asked for assistance in reporting whether you can receive and understand the brief Emergency Alert System message which will be broadcast on 89.3 MHz from Pescadero.
Catherine will be at the KPDO facility and will also be available on CMD31 (146.730 MHz, -, PL 114.8) to receive signal reports from area hams. In this way KPDO hopes to get an idea of their commercial broadcast range and the ability to connect with hams in the community.
