If you would like a certificate recognizing your proficiency copying CW (Morse code) over the air, our friends at KPH are holding a qualifying broadcast run:

K6KPH will broadcast the next Code Practice Qualifying Run on Saturday December 18. Time is 2pm PST or 2200z.
    K6KPH Code Practice Qualifying Runs: 3581.5, 7047.5, 14047.5, 18097.5 and 21067.5 kHz (Same as the W1AW frequencies)
Speeds will be 5 minutes each of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 WPM. Instructions and costs for qualification certificates are given in the preamble (at 14 WPM), and in the ARRL QST Magazine, under “W1AW Qualifying Runs”. K6KPH does the CPQR in March, June, September and December, usually the 3rd or 4th Saturday of the month.

When you copy K6KPH and send in to ARRL for a certificate (with the fee), your certificate will be stamped that you copied the West Coast Run from K6KPH.

    One day… 🙂
