ARES is being activated for the upcoming storms due to heavy rains and possible debris flows. We are planning to open the DOC Tuesday at noon and will be running 6 hour shifts until the threat is over, one radio operator per shift. A CERT volunteer will also be at the DOC starting at 6pm Tuesday. For anyone who is not comfortable running net control for a real call out, I’d be happy to sign you up for a shift as scribe for net control. It’s a great learning opportunity for the newer folks!
