ARES and CERT has been invited to participate in the San Mateo County Large Animal Evac’s Animal Handling Training. This is a great opportunity to learn how to work with large animals and other farm animals (like pigs and chickens) during an emergency. And, it’s a LOT OF FUN!

It is at Ember Ridge Ranch, 1181/1862 Etheldore St, Moss Beach. 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The flyer has details as to how to RSVP. Please wear your ARES or CERT vest and let me know if you are planning on attending.

That’s great Eva. Be sure to wear your vest and make sure they know you represent SC4ARES. Because some of us have a conflict the evening of May 22, they have adjusted the end time from 5 to 3.

ARES Leadership, please try to make an appearance at this event. I guarantee you will learn something and you will have fun!
